Identi3D description
Program Identi3D is designed for storing, visualization and identification
hierarchical structures of engineering systems and communications. Main
information unit here is an object, represented by:
- its name,
- its three-dimensional geometric frame model (the most optimum from
standpoints of volume of input information),
- its textual information,
- its relations with other similar objects such as "belongs to",
"contains".
Program is designed for Windows operating system (3.1-95).
Main possibilities of the program:
- suitable and simple interface for making the object’s geometric
frame models with visual checking of correctness of entering,

- possibility of using an expanding library of primitives
of frame models,
- absence of restrictions on complexity geometric models
from standpoints of storage and visualizations
- dynamic operative memory and disc space allocation for
keeping object models, depending on its current complexity only
- high guarantee of data integrity in case of possible
operating system or hardware malfunctions or faults
- autosave functions of entering data
- providing of the quick data operations performance such
as access, addition, removing, updating of objects, which has linear dependence
on its difficulty,
- building 3D image both separates objects, and several
relational objects in any projection
- scaling an image for viewing its details,
- printing an images on any Windows compatible device.
When using a program an user has a possibility to view
3D image of objects and textual information on them. The program has possibility
to move through hierarchy of objects and select of chosen object. Chosen
object and all other objects, which are included into it, is displayed
at each time moment. For instance, building will be displayed with all
their own premises and communications (and with premises equipment on the
special request). It is possible to select an interest premise (or equipment)
and simultaneously get textual information on him.

Given program tested and patented in Russia Cosmic Agency
and has proven its efficiency at the existing engineering system description.
