Visualization and animation problems appear every time we begin to study something, and it stands for both generalizations of results and new ideas source, especially in the process of numerical simulation of complex multi-dimensional problems. We consider here numerical simulation as a method of complex physical phenomena investigation with the help of computer. So the idea of creating the center which covers both simulation and visualization aspects seems to be self-evident and the traditions of well-known academician A. A. Samarsky scientific school appear to be very helpful in turning the idea to life.

Nowadays modern computer technology greatly expands the variety of problems, which can be solved by simulation, and a lot of corresponding algorithms were developed, but the more complexity in problems we have, the more important the role of visualization becomes. The significant results in such visualizations can be achieved by using modern graphic workstations only, so the visualization center is equipped with such HP station:

Powerful PC with popular IBM architecture and Windows-compatible specialized software are also in use.

Projects, the center holds, covers several perspective problems of mathematical modeling visualization, but there are still resources to be involved in some significant one.
